The Institute for Equity-Centered Coaching Exchange (The Exchange)
is a professional association for coaches & leaders committed to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-oppression.

The Institute for Equity-Centered Coaching launched in 2021 with the mission of providing coach education that prioritized the values of equity, inclusion, and antiracism as inherent parts of its pedagogy.

Since then we've trained hundreds of students throughout our various intensives, workshops and and certification programs but we know there is so much more to do.

Not everyone who finds us wants, or needs to become a certified as an equity-centered coach, but everyone does need accesses to the fundamentals of Equity-Centered Practice.

The Exchange is a hub for professional learning, and community building among coaches who believe that equity, inclusion, antiracism, and all forms anti-oppression are key elements of an effective, and emotionally & psychologically safe coaching practice.

Exchange Members have access to monthly professional development training, coaching clinics with Institute founder,  Trudi Lebron, access to facilitated affinity group , and discounts on additional workshops and conferences.

Exchange Workshops are held live on Zoom monthly.

Replays of all past workshops are available inside of The Exchange member portal and can be watched at your convenience. We also provide a private podcast feed if you prefer to listen to the replays on the go.

Topics covered in The Exchange workshops are sourced from member requests and suggestions from The Institute for Equity-Centered Coaching faculty. We aim to be responsive to what is going on in the world at any given time, so upcoming workshop themes are subject to change.

I really have been looking for a community that cares as much as I do about justice and equity and it sees the opportunity to bring those values into transformational work, not as the deviation from the standard, but as the standard.

The Institute for Equity Centered Coaching is the only place that I've seen that is centering this work and saying it is possible to do transformational work from an equity informed place.

My coaching started to really excel when I started to take on these learnings and these inquiries into what is it that I'm actually doing in this space.

Quarterly Coaching Clinics
Attending a Coaching Clinic is a great way to reflect on your coaching style, identify areas for improvement, and gain new insights that can contribute to your overall development.

This is your opportunity to seek advice and solutions for challenges you may be experiencing with your clients, in structuring your coaching offerings, or anything related to improving your coaching skills and deepening your coaching practice.

We recognize the value of a diverse external perspective, which is why we also provide opportunities to practice your coaching skills and get real-time feedback from experienced coaches and peers.

FAQs
Are these live events?
Yes, The Exchange workshops, affinity calls, coaching clinics, and new member receptions are all hosted live, on Zoom.
Will there be recordings?
Recordings of The Exchange workshops are hosted on a members-only webpage.

We encourage you to attend live whenever possible. The energy is just different when you’re on the call live!

And if you miss a call, or join after the monthly events have begun, you’ll be able to view replays of anything you miss.

Affinity group calls are not recorded, to protect the privacy of the discussions that take place.

What is the time commitment?
The great thing about The Exchange is that there is nothing you are required to do.

Workshops, Affinity Group Calls, and New Member Receptions are one hour long, and the quarterly coaching clinic is 90 minutes long.

You will find the schedule in the membership portal, and can attend the events that are most interesting and relevant to you.

What tech will I need?
We try to keep things as simple as possible. You’ll need to access Zoom for the live calls and email for communication. The membership community is hosted on Slack and we offer a private podcast through Hello Audio.
What is your renewal policy?
We have an Affirmative Consent Policy.

We don’t believe it’s equitable to charge a customer if they fail to affirmatively reject or cancel an offer.

Anytime a purchase is made the customer should affirmatively consent to that purchase.

The Exchange is a professional association with a membership enrollment fee of $197 for 12-months of programming.

We will reach out to you 30-60 days before your membership is due to expire and offer you the opportunity to affirmatively consent to the renewal of your membership for the next 12-months. If you do not respond, you will not be charged again.
